Dr. Matt Goetz received his DVM from Oregon State University in 2010 and his Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University in 2018. Dr. Matt and his wife share their lives with a menagerie of animals that includes several cats, two dogs, and two guinea pigs. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife to see their favorite music band perform as well as tinkering with technology to make a smart home.

Dogs are not colorblind. They can see more than just black, white and gray, though the color range is still very limited for them. Dogs do not have receptors for “human” reds, greens and oranges, they appear somewhere on the yellow to blue spectrum. Shades of yellow and blue are the canines strongest color field.
Animal Facts: Kinkajous These creatures can be found in the tropical forests of Central and South America, where they spend most of their time in the trees. Kinkajous are able to turn their feet backward to run easily in either direction along branches or up and down trunks. They also have a prehensile (gripping) tail that they use much like another arm.
